From a proud university comes a proud tradition. In the spring of every year, the University of Michigan presents the works of its graduating Stamps School of Art and Design seniors. “Launch”, the 2014 show, included film, installation, traditional and new media, all displayed via exhibitions, performances and film screenings at the Michigan Theater. Each student’s piece represented the culmination of a year-long course, The Integrative Project.
By combining my love for communicating through graphic design with my interest in the student body's most popular pastime - dining, I created a series of posters that visually tell the story of Ann Arbor’s dining scene. My senior project captures the beauty of text and imagery in an vibrant offering of information that I gathered and organized using typography, layout, and color.
