In the world of advertising, the American Advertising Awards is celebrated as the advertising industry's largest competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year. In local, district and national competitions, entrants are recognized for their creative accomplishments and excellence in the advertising arts.
The Advertising Club of Washington, D.C. approached the creative team at LEVICK to produce event visuals for their Cuban-themed 2015 competition. I created this poster to capture the colors and spirit of the Havana high-life in the 1950s and communicates the artistic basis of the ADDY Awards.
