Urban Utopias presents 3D visions for an imaginary or futuristic New York. The influence comes from the Hippie Movement, where positive ideals are the main reason for moving the society in such a direction. The project was executed during my first year at Pratt Institute in the Visual Language class. The goal for the project was to translate something core about the Hippie Movement's ideas and visual language into a new context. I drew on not only the visual references, but also the philosophical and ideological associations.
